Brighton University

when looking into the Graphic design course at Brighton University i found it to really interest me, and wow me with all of the statistics and skills that could be picked up by going there.

i really felt that if was to choose this course then i would be able to take my own route and really progress into an area of this field through the pathways i would want to learn. by looking at Brighton it has solidified the fact that at the end of college i want to try and go into the field myself and see how far i can get myself. then if in some time i felt that i needed to learn further from what i had already i would apply and see where it could take me.

if i was to decide that further down the line i wanted to got to university then i would most likely choose Brighton due to the fact that i know the area and the course really interested me when i was reading it.

the things that drew me in : i found that when you are producing your work and being put into your different projects you could really stray off the track and work on a style that suited you, instead of being placed under this political umbrella of art. Also, the area was a massive bonus. there was a huge academic and social life as well as the fact that people were really friendly  and outgoing with their work.

i felt it was really interesting that you are constantly surrounded by professors and people in the graphic industry, so you could always go to them and see how they progressed in their career and how they feel about the different styles and elements that you are making in your work.
